한국어 교육을 위한 접속부사 어휘 정보 활용 방안 연구

A Study on Utilization of Lexical Information of Conjunctive Adverbs for Korean Language Education

이 연구는 한국어 학습자가 접속부사의 쓰임과 의미를 명시적으로 이해할 수 있도록 접속부사의 교육 내용과 사전 정보의 구체적인 활용 방안을 제안하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 접속부사의 사용 현황을 살펴보고, 한국어 교재의 교육 내용을 검토하여 접속부사의 이해와 활용에 필요한 학습 내용이 무엇인지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 접속부사는 문어와 구어에서 사용 양상의 차이가 크며, 접속부사의 교육 및 활동은 초급 단계에서 주로 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 학습 단계가 높은 한국어 학습자와 학문목적 학습자를 위해서는 접속부사의 어휘 정보를 체계화하여 접속부사를 이해하고 글쓰기에 활용할 수 있도록 하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 접속부사의 기능은 맥락에 따른 의미를 명확히 구별하여 기술하는 것이 필요하고, 실제 언어생활에서 많이 사용하는 접속 표현을 조사하여 사전에 표제어와 의미를 기술해야 함을 밝혔다. 또한 의미가 유사한 접속부사는 공통점과 차이점을 명확하게 기술하고, 접속부사가 사용되는 구문 형식과 텍스트 유형에 대한 정보도 함께 기술해야 한다는 것을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 한국어사전의 어휘 정보를 적극 활용하여 한국어 학습에 필요한 접속부사의 교육 내용을 구체적으로 제시함으로써 한국어 학습자가 접속부사의 기능과 의미를 명시적으로 이해하고 이를 글쓰기에 적용할 수 있는 실질적인 활용 방안을 제안했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a method of using the educational content and dictionary information of conjunctive adverbs so that Korean learners can clearly understand the use and meaning of conjunctive adverbs. For this purpose, the use of conjunctive adverbs was examined, and the educational contents of the Korean language textbook were reviewed to analyze what learning contents needed to understand and use conjunctive adverbs. As a result of the analysis, conjunctive adverbs have a large difference in usage patterns between written and spoken language, and the education and activities of conjunctive adverbs are found to be mainly conducted at the beginner level. Therefore, it is necessary for Korean learners for academic purposes to organize the lexical information of conjunctive adverb so that they can understand them and use them in writing. For Korean learners, it is necessary to clearly distinguish and describe the meaning of the conjunctive adverb according to the context, and it was revealed that the headword and meaning should be described in advance by examining the conjunctive expressions that are often used in actual language life. In addition, it was suggested that conjunctive adverbs with similar meaning clearly describe the common points and differences, and that information on syntax and text types are also required. This study is meaningful in that Korean learners understand the function and meaning of conjunctive adverbs and propose practical lexical information that can be applied to writing.
