2015 Revised Curriculum Mathematics textbook core copetencies analysis: Focused on the 3rd grade middle school geometry unit

본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 3학년 수학 교과서의 기하 영역에서 핵심역량을 기준으로 분석해보고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해서 2020년 7월부터 2020년 10월 말까지 핵심역량에 관한 교과서 분석에 대한 선행연구를 조사하였으며, 2015 개정 교육과정에 따라 편찬된 중학교 3학년 수학 교과서의 6종의 기하 영역을 8주 동안 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 3학년 수학 교과서의 기하 영역은 평균적으로 문제해결 역량을 많이 포함하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 교과서의 도입, 본문, 평가문제, 창의력활동, 읽기 자료 부분에서 특징적으로 나타나는 하위요소가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 교과서를 통한 다양한 수업 활동을 통해 부족한 역량의 하위요소를 보충할 필요가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 핵심역량을 교과서별로 분석한 결과 A교과서의 분포가 가장 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 3학년 수학 교과서의 수학 교과 역량의 분포가 불균형이 심하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This study aims to analyze the core competencies in the geometric area of the 3rd grade mathematics textbook for middle school students according to the 2015 revised curriculum. For this study, previous studies on the analysis of textbooks on core competencies from July 2020 to the end of October 2020 were investigated. Analyzed for weeks. As a result of the analysis of this study, the following conclusions were obtained. First, it was found that the geometric domain of the 2015 revised curriculum middle school mathematics textbook contains a lot of problem-solving capabilities on average. Second, it was found that there are sub-elements characteristically appearing in the introduction of textbooks, text, evaluation problems, creativity activities, and reading materials. Third, it was found that it was necessary to supplement the sub-elements of insufficient competence through various class activities through textbooks. Fourth, as a result of analyzing core competencies by textbook, the distribution of textbook A was found to be the best. Fifth, it was found that the distribution of mathematics subject competencies in the mathematics textbooks for the third year of middle school in the 2015 revised curriculum was severely unbalanced.
