루쉰(魯迅)의 『古小說鉤沉』 輯佚과 六朝小說 硏究

Luxun s Guxiaoshuogouchen and the Study of Novel History in the Six Dynasties: Focusing on the Succession Relationship with Zhangbinglin

루쉰(魯迅)의 『中國小說史略』은 본격적인 중국 소설사 연구의 성과이자 토대였다. 그리고 이 소설사를 편찬하는 데에 있어서, 魏晉南北朝 소설 연구를 위해 이미 佚失된 소설들을 輯佚해 『古小說鉤沉』을 완성했다. 여기까지는 일반적으로 잘 알려진 사실인데, 본고는 더 나아가 『古小說鉤沉』에 대한 심층적인 고찰을 통해, 이 輯佚 작업이 단순히 소설사 편찬을 위해서가 아니라, 루쉰의 학술성향과 직접적으로 맞닿아 있음을 확인했다. 그리고 『古小說鉤沉』의 ｢序｣의 내용분석으로부터 시작해서, 루쉰의 이러한 학술성향의 중요한 淵源 중 한 갈래로, 루쉰이 잠시나마 직접 스승으로 따랐던 장빙린(章炳麟)의 학술사상을 꼽아, 루쉰과 장빙린 사이의 계승과 차이점을 고찰했다. 이러한 고찰을 통해, 루쉰의 六朝에 대한 觀點과 嗜好가 장빙린의 학술사상과 상관관계가 있으며, 기본적으로는 장빙린의 관점을 계승하면서도 비판적으로 수정한 바가 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 같은 결과는 루쉰의 『古小說鉤沉』의 연원이 장빙린 한 명으로 귀결된다는 것을 의미하지는 않는다. 단지 루쉰의 복잡다단한 학술이 가진 다양한 淵源 중 중요한 한 갈래로 장빙린의 학술사상을 꼽을 수 있으며, 이러한 인식을 통해, 루쉰의 학술사상과 성향을 보다 다각적으로 파악하는 데에 보탬이 되고자 할 뿐이다.

Luxun s Zhongguxiaoshuilue was the result and foundation of a full-fledged study of Chinese novel history. When examining this novel history, he completed Guxiaoshuogouchen by collecting and compiling novels that were already lost for the study of novels in Wei Jin Southern and Northern dynasties. Unlike what is generally well-known above, this study of Guxiaoshuogouchen has furthered and confirmed that this is not just for the compilation of novel history, but directly related to Luxun s academic orientation. Analyzing the content of the Guxiaoshuogouchen preface, one of the important origins of Luxun s academic orientation was the discovery of Zhangbinglin s academic ideas, which Lu Xun had briefly learned. Also, this research investigates the succession and difference between Luxun and Zhangbinglin. Through these considerations, it was confirmed that Luxun s view and favor of the Six dynasties were correlated with Zhangbinglin s academic ideas, and that they had basically been critically modified while inheriting Zhangbinglin s view. These results do not imply that Luxun s Guxiaoshuogouchen originates from one scholar, Zhangbinglin. Just one important branch of the various origins of Luxun s complex academic disciplines is Zhangbinglin s academic thought, and through this recognition, it is only to help us understand Luxun s academic ideas and inclinations more diversely.
