전문대학생의 성장신념, 그릿, 메타인지 및 진로준비행동간의 구조적 관계

Structural Relations Among Junior College Student’s Growth Mindset, Grit, Metacognition, and Career Preparation Behavior

본 연구는 전문대 재학생의 성장신념이 그릿과 메타인지를 매개하여 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데에 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, D 광역시 소재의 전문대학에 재학 중인 238명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 이 중 228부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 사전 기초 분석을 실시하였고, Mplus 8.2를 이용한 구조방정식 모형 방법을 통하여 가설 모형을 검증하였다. 측정모형은 모형수정을 통하여 좋은 수준의 적합도를 갖췄으며, 이를 바탕으로 잠재변인간의 인과관계를 추가한 구조방정식 모형은 양호한 적합도를 보였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참가자의 그릿과 메타인지는 그들의 진로준비행동을 정적으로 예측하였다. 둘째, 전문대 재학생의 성장신념 수준이 직접적으로 그들의 진로준비행동에는 영향을 끼치지 못했지만, 그릿과 메타인지를 매개로 하여 진로준비행동에 간접적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인하였다. 전문대학생의 진로준비행동을 증진시키기 위하여 그릿 수준 및 메타인지 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 중재(intervention) 프로그램 등을 개발하고 도입할 필요가 있으며, 전문대 재학생의 성장신념을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육 환경을 조성할 필요가 있다는 교육적 시사점을 제공한다.

The purpose of the current investigation was to explore structural relations among career preparation behavior, growth mindset, grit and metacognition for Junior College students. 238 Junior College students in D city were participated for this study, but 10 of them were excluded for the final analyses. SPSS 25.0 was used to perform preliminary analyses and then, structural equation modelings were conducted with Mplus 8.2 program to check a hypothesized model. Measurement model had good fit with two minor modifications and its structural model had acceptable fit indices. Main findings were as follows. First, it was confirmed that Junior College students’ grit and metacognition positively predicted their career preparation behavior. Second, participants’ growth mindset could not directly impact on their career preparation behavior, but girt and metacognition could mediate the relations between growth mindset and career preparation behavior. Based on findings, we could provide theoretical and practical implications such as intervention programs and instructional design to the fields of higher education in terms of enhancing college students’ career preparation behavior.
