대학생의 생애학습역량 유형 분류 및 관련 변인들과의 관계 검증

Classification of the Types of Life-long Learning Competencies of University Students and Verification of Relationships with Related Variables

본 연구에서는 대학생의 생애학습역량을 유형화하고 유형별 특징을 파악하기 위해 관련 변인들과의 관계를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 한국청소년정책연구원이 ‘청소년 역량지수 측정 및 국제비교 연구 Ⅲ’를 위해 수집한 대학생 1,000명 자료를 활용하여 9가지 생애학습역량에 따른 잠재프로파일 분석을 실시하였고, 잠재프로파일의 예측요인으로 성별, 학업성취, 지각된 경제수준, 가족 내 학습지지를, 결과요인으로 자기주도학습능력과 문제해결능력을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 역량 수준에 따라 3가지 잠재프로파일(저역량, 중역량, 고역량)이 도출되었으며, 예측요인으로는 성별, 지각된 경제수준, 가족 내 학습지지가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 더불어 잠재프로파일별 자기주도학습능력과 문제해결능력의 차이가 각각 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의 및 생애학습역량을 증진시키기 위한 시사점을 제시하고, 후속연구를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the latent profiles of the life-long learning competencies of university students, which can be called the core competencies of adolescents, and to verify the relationships with the relevant variables. To achieve the purposes, latent profile analysis was conducted based on nine life-long learning competencies using data collected by 1,000 university students for the Korea Youth Competency Measurement and International Comparative Research III by National Youth Policy Institute in South Korea. Self-directed learning ability and problem-solving skills were distal outcomes and gender, academic performance, perceived economic level, and family learning support were predictors of latent profiles. As a results, three latent profiles (low, middle, and high competencies) were derived depending on the level of competency, and among the predictors, gender, perceived economic level, and family learning support were significant. In addition, self-directed learning ability for each latent profile were different, and problem-solving skills showed similar results. Based on the results of the research, the significance of the study and its implications for enhancing life-long learning competencies were presented, and follow-up studies were proposed.
