사회복지학 전공 대학생의 개인 특성이 진로 준비 행동에 미치는 영향

The Influence of the Personal Characteristics of the University Students Majoring in Social Welfare on the Career Preparation Behavior

본 연구는 대학생의 다양한 개인적 특성(개인 변인, 진로 관련 심리적 변인, 진로 경험변인)이 진로 준비 행동에서 어떤 차이와 영향을 보이는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 수도권과 충청권에 소재하는 4년제 대학교에서 사회복지학 전공 중인 대학생 149명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대학생의 개인 변인이 진로 준비 행동에 영향을 미치는 순서는 전공 만족, 학년이었다. 즉 전공 만족도가 높을수록, 학년이 높을수록 진로 준비 행동 수준이 높음을 알 수 있다. 진로 관련 심리적 변인들 중에서 진로 준비 행동에 영향력을 미치는 순서는 진로 탄력성, 낙관성, 취업 스트레스 순으로 나타났다. 즉, 진로 탄력성이 높을수록, 낙관성이 낮을수록, 취업 스트레스가 높을수록 진로 준비 행동 수준이 높음을 알 수 있다. 진로 경험 변인들 중에서는 진로 준비 행동에 영향력을 미치는 순서는 리더 경험, 진로 사이트 활용, 진로상담 순으로 나타났다. 즉, 리더 경험이 있을수록, 진로 사이트를 이용하고, 진로상담을 받을수록 진로 준비 행동 수준이 높음을 알 수 있다. 아울러 취업 스트레스는 진로 준비 행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 취업 스트레스와 진로 준비 행동 간의 관계에서 진로 탄력성이 유의한 조절 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학에서의 진로 교육과 취업 지도에 대해 논의하였다.

This research had intended to find out what the differences and influences of the diverse personal characteristics of the university students are regarding the career preparation behavior. For this, a survey questionnaire investigation had been carried out with 149 university students who had been majoring in social welfare at 4-year universities that are located in the capital city region and the Chungcheong region as the subjects. As a result of the research, the order of the influence of the personal variable of the university student on the career preparation behavior was the satisfaction with the major and the year, in that order. It appeared that, among the psychological variables that are related to the career path, the order of having the influence on the career preparation behavior was the order of the career resilience, the optimism, and the job-seeking stress. It appeared that, among the career path experience variables, the order of having the influence on the career preparation behavior was in the order of the leader experience, the utilization of a career path site, and the career path counseling. In addition, it appeared that job-seeking stress has a direct influence on the career preparation behavior. And it appeared that, in the relationship between job-seeking stress and the career preparation behavior, the career resilience has a significant buffering effect. Based on such research results, I had discussed about the suggestions and the implications for the career path education and the employment guidance at the university.
