초기 노인의 여가생활이 사회적 친분관계를 매개하여 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Leisure Life of Early Older People on the Satisfaction of Life by Mediating Social Relation

본 연구는 초기 노인의 여가활동과 삶의 만족도의 관련성을 밝히고, 사회적 친분관계의 매개효과를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 14차년도 조사자료를 활용하였다. 이 조사자료는 전국 총 4,124가구를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였고, 이 중 65세 이상 70세 미만인 대상자 871명을 추출하여 활용하였다. 본 연구는 일반적 특성을 분석하기 위하여 기술통계를 실시하였고, 주요 변수 간의 상관관계분석을 시행하였으며, 초기 노인의 여가생활과 삶의 만족도 및 사회적 친분관계의 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여가생활에 만족할수록 사회적 친분관계가 긍정적이며, 배우자가 있는 경우에 사회적 친분관계가 더욱 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가생활에 만족할수록 삶의 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 배우자가 있는 경우와 주관적 건강상태가 양호한 경우에 삶의 만족도가 더욱 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 여가생활에 만족할수록 사회적 친분관계가 긍정적일수록 삶의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 주관적 건강상태가 양호한 경우에 삶의 만족도가 더욱 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 노인들에게 여가활동 참여의 중요성을 인식시켜주고, 여가생활 참여기회의 확대, 여가시설의 확충, 여가생활 프로그램의 질적 개선 등의 적극적인 노력 및 지원의 필요성을 제시하였다.

In this study, the relationship between leisure activities of the elderly in the early stages and satisfaction with their lives was clarified, and explores the mediating effects of social intimacy. To the end, the survey data for the 14th year of the Korean Welfare Panel were used. This survey data was conducted on a total of 4,124 households nationwide, 871 subjects of whom were from 65 years old to 70 years old were extracted and used. This study analyzed the general characteristics of technical statistics, the correlation between major variables, and conducted a regression analysis to analyze the satisfaction of early elderly people s leisure and social relationship and mediating effects.The results of this study are as follows. First of all, it was found that social intimacy is more positive when one is satisfied with one s leisure life, and social intimacy is more positive when one has a spouse. Second, it was found that the more satisfied one is with one s leisure life, the more satisfied one is with one s life when one has a spouse and is in good subjective health. Third, it was found that the more satisfactory a social relationship is, the more satisfactory it is, the more satisfactory it is, especially, the more satisfactory it is. Based on the results of this study, it was suggested that the elderly recognize the importance of participating in leisure activities and that active efforts and support such as expanding opportunities for participating in leisure activities, expanding leisure facilities, and improving the quality of leisure programs are urgently required.
