건국신화를 활용한 다문화축제 활성화방안

Multi-Cultural Festival Activation Using the National Foundation Myth from 5 East Asia

세계화의 추세 속에 국내 거주하는 이주자의 수가 증가하면서, 단일민족의 자긍심을 고수하던 한국사회는 최근 다문화사회로 급격히 변모하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국에 거주하는 동아시아 5개국 민족이 그들 고유의 문화정체성을 유지하면서 한국의 주류문화에 통합할 수 있는 문화통합의 장을 마련하고자, 건국신화를 다문화 축제로 활용가능한 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서, 본 연구에서는 2015년 가을부터 2016년 봄까지 동아시아 5개국 여성결혼이민자 54명을 대상으로 민족별 초점집단면담을 실시한 후, 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 여성결혼이민자들의 다문화축제 교류방식, 다문화축제 내용, 다문화축제 관여정도, 다문화축제 효과: ‘우리 함께’, 그러나 현실은? 그리고 향후 과제 등이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 문화교류의 장으로써 다문화축제 활성화 방안을 모색해봄으로써, 한국 다문화사회가 진정한 문화통합을 이룰 수 있길 제언한다.

With the trend of globalization, the number of foreign residents living in Korea has increased. As a result, Korea s society nowadays, which was once known for its pride as a homogeneous country, is changing into a multicultural society. The paper attempted to examine a way to utilize the birth myths of each country in East Asia as a festival to provide an opportunity of cultural integration in Korea multicultural society while each ethnic keeps their original identification of culture and integrates other culture. A total of 54 marriage-based female migrants from 5 East Asia in Korea participated in focus group interviews from the fall of 2015 to the spring of 2016 according to their country. The results founded interchange methods, contents, degree of involvement, We together , that is, effect of multicultural festival of marriage-based female migrants, but what is reality?, and future challenges of Korea multicultural society. Our results suggest that Korea multicultural society could achieve truly cultural integration by seeking to discuss ways to revitalize Together Day Festivals as a cultural exchange.
