어머니의 양육효능감이 만2세 영아의 어휘능력과 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 어머니의 양육효능감이 만2세 영아의 어휘 능력과 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 경상북도 P시에 위치한 어린이집에 다니고 있는 만2세 영아 300명의 어머니와 해당 담임교사를 대상으로 양육효능감, 어휘능력, 정서조절능력에 관련한 설문 조사를 2018년 7월 16일 ～ 7월 27까지 실시하였다. 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 양육효능감은 만2세 영아의 어휘 능력을 의미 있게 예측하는 변인으로 나타났다. 만 2세 영아의 어휘 능력에 의미 있게 예측하는 양육효능감의 하위변인은 의사소통능력이다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육효능감이 만2세 영아의 정서조절능력에 있어서 ‘정서관리’ 에 의미 있게 예측하는 변인으로 나타났다. 만2세 영아의 ‘정서관리에 의미 있게 예측하는 양육효능감의 하위변인 중 의사소통능력은 부정적으로, 교육, 발달지원 능력은 긍정적으로 예측하는 변인으로 나타났다. 그리고 어머니의 양육효능감은 영아 정서조절 능력 하위요인 ‘정서표현’과 ‘정서 대처’에는 통계적으로 유 의미하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 어머니의 양육효능감이 만2세 영아의 어휘 능력, 정서조절능력에 중요한 예측 변인임을 시사한다.

This study is to investigate the effect of mother s parenting efficacy on vocabulary ability and emotional regulation ability of 2-year-old infants. For this study, a questionnaire on parenting efficacy, vocabulary ability, and emotional control ability was conducted from July 16 to July 2018 for the mothers of 300 2-year-old infants and their homeroom teachers attending a daycare center located in P-city, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It was carried out up to 27. For the data, multiple regression analysis was performed using the SPSS 23.0 program. As a result of the study, first, mother s parenting efficacy was found to be a significant predictor of vocabulary ability of 2-year-old infants. The sub-variable of parenting efficacy that significantly predicts the vocabulary ability of a 2-year-old infant is communication ability. Second, the mother s parenting efficacy was found to be a significant predictor of “emotional management” in the emotional regulation ability of 2-year-old infants. Among the sub-variables of child-rearing efficacy predicted meaningfully for emotional management of 2-year-old infants, communication ability was negative, and education and developmental support ability were positively predicted. In addition, it was found that the mother s parenting efficacy was not statistically significant for emotional expression and emotional coping , which are the sub-factors of the infant s emotional regulation ability. The results of this study suggest that mother s parenting efficacy is an important predictor of vocabulary ability and emotional regulation ability of 2-year-old infants.
