해운산업의 스마트화를 선도할 기술개발 수요조사 연구

A Study on the Demand for Technology Development to Lead the Smartization of the Shipping Industry

해운·물류 분야의 스마트화가 가속화 되면서 다양한 신기술을 활용해 경쟁력을 높이고 국내외 경쟁에서 우위를 점하고자 하는 우리나라 기술수요가 증가하고 있다. 각국의 글로벌해운기업들은 저마다 빠른 속도로 자국 해운·물류산업의 스마트화를 추진 중에 있다. 우리나라가 주요 세계 해운국과의 경합에서 앞서 나가고, 해운·물류 분야의 지속 가능한 경쟁력 향상 도모를 위해서는 해운·물류 분야 차세대 기술개발 수요에 대한 우선순위 산정이 시급하다. 본 연구는 선행연구 분석과 해외사례 검토에서 도출된 최신 해상무역 기술개발 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 해운·물류 관계자들에게 수요 조사를 실시하고 이를 통해 중요성과 시급성을 고려한 정책 우선순위를 제시하였다. 수요조사 분석결과 자율운항선박, 블록체인 등이 수요가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 해운산업 관계자 약 45명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 우리나라 해운·물류 분야에서 추진해야 할 스마트화 기술에 대해 아이템별 우선순위를 도출했다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 있다.

Purpose : This study aims to verify the importance and urgency of shipping technology for smartening the Korean shipping and logistics industries. Research design, data, methodology : This study surveyed 74 shipping officials covering shipping companies, brokers, and other shipping officials, and questioned the importance and urgency of each technical demand survey item in the shipping industry. Results : As smartization in the shipping and logistics sectors accelerates, the demand for technology development in Korea, which aims to increase competitiveness by utilizing various new technologies and gain an advantage in domestic and international competition, is increasing. Global shipping companies and countries shipping and logistics industries are pushing for smartening their own shipping and logistics industries rapidly. This study performs a cross-analysis of importance and urgency, which leads to policy priorities. Conclusions : According to the analysis of interviews on the importance and urgency for smartening the Korean shipping and logistics industries, both the autonomous ship and blockchain sectors show the highest policy priorities when performing a survey of 74 shipping officials in this study.
