국어국문학 전공 교과의 온라인 수업 전환 사례

A Case Study of Conversion of Korean Language and Literature Major Courses to Online Learning - Focused on <Reading in Modern Poetry Classic>

이 논문은 코로나19 사태로 인해 비대면 수업으로 전환된 국어국문학 전공 교과의 온라인 수업 사례를 살펴보는 연구이다. 본고에서는 <현대시명작읽기> 교과의 수업 설계와 운영을 통해 온라인에서의 문학 교육적 지향과 방법을 모색해보았다. 기존의 대면 수업 구조를 온라인 수업의 구조로 재설계해야 하는 과정에서 대학의 인문학 전공 교과 교육은 인문학 콘텐츠화 가능성을 전제로 구체화된다. 이는 우리 사회의 인문학 열풍, 대학의 학습 환경 변화와 관련이 있다. 본 수업에서는 플립러닝 방식을 활용하여 이러닝 학습(사이버캠퍼스)과 실시간 화상 강의(ZOOM)를 병행하였다. 변화한 수업 환경에서 학습자의 몰입을 높이기 위한 방법으로 이러닝 학습 시 동기유발 콘텐츠의 개발과 활용에 중점을 두었다. 실시간 강의에서는 수시 과제에 대한 피드백을 통해 ‘시 읽기’의 대상과 방법을 확장할 수 있는 온라인 수업의 재설계와 운영 방안을 제안하였다. 문학 수업의 경우 교수자-학습자, 학습자-학습자 간에 밀접한 소통과 피드백이 요구되는 현장성 중심의 학습 영역이다. 따라서 지금과 같은 상황이 지속, 확대될 경우를 대비하여 비대면 수업에 적절한 상호작용의 새로운 방식을 모색할 필요가 있다. 또한 본 수업에서 적용하지 못한, 몰입과 집중을 제고할 효율적인 교수 방안에 대한 후속 연구도 절실하다. 이를 위해 이번 학기 국어국문학 전공 교과 수업에서 시도된 다양한 온라인 교수 경험들의 지속적이고 생산적인 활용 방안에 대한 교육적 성찰이 이어져야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this article is to examine the cases of online learning of Korean language and literature major courses converted to untact classes due to COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores orientation and methods of online literature education through the instructional design and implementation of <Reading in Modern Poetry Classic> course. In the process of restructuring existing in-person instruction structure into online instruction structure, education of the college humanities major courses becomes materialized on the premise that contents of the humanities could be constructed. It is related to a craze for the humanities in our society and changed college learning environment. This course combined e-learning(cyber campus) by using the flipped learning method with real-time video teaching(ZOOM). It was focused on the development and utilization of teaching materials for motivation in e-learning in order to increase immersion in this changed class environment. Real-time video teaching suggested plans for restructuring and operation of online classes that can help to expand the objects and methods of ‘reading poetry’ through the feedback to frequent student assignments. In case of literature course, it deals with the learning area focused on the quality of presence that requires the close communication and feedback between instructors and learners, or learners and learners. Thus, in preparation for the possibility that this kind of situation continues or becomes intensified, there is a need to seek for new methods of interaction appropriate for untact learning. Besides, there is a desperate need for the follow-up study of effective teaching methods to enhance immersion and concentration, which could not be applied to this course. For this, educational reflection on the continuous and productive utilization of various online teaching experience attempted in the Korean language and literature major courses this semester should be continued.
