침치료, 추나치료, 전정재활치료로 관리한 어지럼증이 동반된 돌발성 난청 환자 치험 1례

A Case Study of a Sudden Hearing Loss Patient with Dizziness Who Was Treated with Acupuncture, Chuna manipulation, Vestibular Rehabilitation

Objective: The purpose of this study is to report the combination effect of acupuncture, chuna manipulation and vestibular rehabilitation for a case of sudden hearing loss with dizziness. Method: Acupuncture, chuna manipulation and vestibular rehabilitation were applied once a week for 2 months. Hearing and dizziness handicap inventory (D HI) was evaluated. Result: Hearing was improved from 20 dB to 0 dB after the treatments. D HI was improved from 86 to 8 after the treatments. Conclusion: A patient who had sudden hearing loss with dizziness was treated with acupuncture, chuna manipulation and vestibular rehabilitation once a week for 2 months and significant improvement in hearing, dizziness was observed. We consider that consistent treatments of acupuncture, chuna manipulation and vestibular rehabilitation can contribute to improve sudden hearing loss with dizziness.
