A Study of Influence Factors on Social Worker’s Supplementary Education Performance

With the goals to improve the quality of social worker’s supplementary education and to contribute to the reinforcement of supplementary education, the present study used studying effect as a mediating factor in analyzing the effect of social worker’s individual factors, educational environment factors, and organizational environment factors on the supplementary education performance. The result of analysis confirmed that social worker’s individual factors, educational environment factors, organizational environment factors exerted influence on supplementary education performance with studying effect as a mediator. In particular, educational environment factors, which refer to the quality of the instructor, education content, and teaching method, were found to have the highest path coefficient that leads to studying effect, indicating a significant influence on education performance. This study finding confirms the need for clinical approach by paying attention to social worker’s individual factors, educational environment factors, and organizational environment factors to improve and reinforce the quality of social worker’s supplementary education in the future. Particularly, it implies that it is crucial to provide high-quality educational environment factors among other things.
