The purpose of this study is to examine whether community wellbeing affects regional belonging and to evaluate the level of community wellbeing and the subjective satisfaction of local residents. A total of 2,723 research data were collected using the face to face questionnaire (PI) by educated interviewers, Korea Research Institute in 2015. For the analysis of the data, the two multi - level analysis models of this study were intended to distinguish between regions and individuals by presupposing the interaction effect of group effects and personal effects. The results of the study are firstly, the subjective evaluation of the community capital level of community wellbeing and the satisfaction of the individual level were found to be discriminative. Secondly regional belonging sense showed a significant difference between local governments, and the subjective evaluation of community wellbeing and the satisfaction of individual level revealed positive relationship with local belonging. Thirdly, the level of community wellbeing on the individual level was found to be a factor affecting the belonging sense of community.
