A Study on NGO in Japan through Theory Review on Governance

The purpose of this study is to investigate the ways of consultative role of NGO under governance based on the theory review on governance and NGO and empirical study on NGO in Japan. Global pluralism gave rise to the importance of introduction of private sector into the public sector for governance to build an efficient government. In addition, the capacities and roles of NGO have been expanded in solving problems and civil society has presented and actively solved problems through NGO. Due to the recognition of its vital roles, NGO has been perceived as being centered on governance. A functional NGO is drived from organizing collaborative system with self-meditation function and sharing information network by establishment of network and partnership between NGOs. The local government should work together with social actors by establishing network and sustainable relationship to solve diverse social issues for regional development.
