A Study on the Decision Making Process of Location for Local Administrative Capital

This Study analyzed the decision making process on relocating Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Office and deciding for the most suitable provincial seat. It was essential to the successful decision on the relocation that the agreement of provincial governor, mayor and county governors involved in the process, the support of provincial council, and the provincial sympathy with it. Chungcheongnam-do s case, which followed the decision process of the New Administrative Capital the first time, plays a role model in the relocation of Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Office in the near future. Also, it sets a good example to the local governments preparing the relocation of their offices.
