A Study on the Energy Resources Policy Stands and Development Direction

World oil prices have been up and down around 60 and 70 dollars per barrel during 2006 and the first quarter of 2007. The high oil price in the past was due to OPEC s policy to cut its production while world oil consumption was declining. In contrast, the current high oil price is mainly due to an increase in the world oil consumption. This study aims at researching the energy resources policy stands and development direction. To achieve this aim, this study analyzes energy consumption, energy technical development investment, energy import and export amount, energy independence development. This study suggests the following necessity energy resources policy stands and development direction: 1) sustainable development and energy cut down policy promote, 2) resources diplomacy strengthening 3) investment of alternation energy development 4) strengthening of energy independence ratio 5) energy organization establishment and human collect
