This study aims at developing an intergeneration recreation program. This intergenration education acknowledges the civil right to various educational fields which play a role in connecting the old generation with the rising generation. The active theory gives a hypothesis which tells more active and frequent participation related to higher degree of psychological social welfare. This hypothesis has been proved through many experience studies. The intergeneration recreation program can be summarized as follows; The program can be identified as the education which is useful to society, the education by which a learner can be immersed into a member of the society, the education which increases the effectiveness of recreation, the education by which one recognizes the partnership, and the education which provides the learners mutual understanding. The intergeneration recreation program makes the learners realize themselves in the natural social activity , also makes them learn the social role and harmonious attitude in the human relationship. The intergeneration recreation program includes teaching learner s responsibility as well as generous attitude to others through social communication. The quality of the intergeneration recreation program needs to be improved by way of developing its various activities and effects. The community must provide the young and the old with the place where they can communicate and understand themselves through their social interaction.
