Now the first stage of Korean government-supported technopark project has completed, and it s a proper time to analyze the overall process of the Korean-style technopark in order to develop the second stage of technopark project. This study focuses on six government-supported technoparks in Korea, and analyzes their realistic characteristics and performances. At first, this study analyzes the government-supported technoparks in terms of business propelling system, structure of managerial and financial operation, and business performances. Business propelling system are analyzed by three aspects: business propelling structure, complex composition and equipment construction, and technopark-fostering industries. Business performances are analyzed by government-designated business areas which are business incubating, R&D, equipment application, education and training, information application, and pilot production. In the next place, common problems through the operation of technopark are analyzed, and at last desirable policy directions are considered by three points; business propelling system, structure of managerial and financial operation, and business structure and areas.
