This study evaluated the effectiveness of an incremental school-based oral health care program supplied to primary school children in Anyang city. This program included oral health education, pit and fissure sealing, fluoride mouth rinsing and professional tooth brushing. The number of the subjects is 169 children in the participant group and 165 children in the control group. The obtained data from these surveys were analyzed with the SPSS statistical package. In knowledge, attitude, behavior of oral hygiene with regard to control group, he group is higher than the control group without that and in case of attitude and behavior. in case of the oral hygiene cognition, a situation satisfaction are no significant difference form the control group. DMFT(DMFS) index of children benefitied from the program are lower than the children of control group. By the differentials of the mean DMFT scores between the program and control groups, respectively. These results support that a significant reduction in dental caries can be result from the an incremental oral health program by school dental clinic which is initiated by the community health center. School children gain the knowledge and behaviors to attain and maintain good oral health in schools.
