여성 사역자 강도권의 대안에 대한 ‘예장(합동)의 헌법’을 통한 고찰

Understanding of the The Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Habdong) for the Preaching right of Women Pastors

대한예수교장로회 헌법(합동)에서는 목사가 되기 위해서는 강도권을 받아야 한다. 그 절차는 소속 노회의 추천을 받아 본 장로회신학교를 졸업하여야한다. 그리고 대한예수교장로회 총회가 시행하는 강도사(講道使, licentiates) 시험에 합격하여 소속노회에서 강도권 인허를 받아 이를 확정하는 목사안수를 받아 임직한다. 대한예수교장로회 헌법(합동)은 교회가 공식적으로 설교할 수 있는 직분으로 목사직을 두고 있다. 공식적으로 설교를 할 수 있는 권한을 강도권이라 한다. 여성에게 목사직이 금지된 현행 대한예수교장로회 헌법(합동)은 여성에게 강도권이 주어지지 않는다. 그러나 여성 사역자에 대한 특별한 직제를 총회 결의로는 가능하지 않다. 단지 헌법을 개정하여 여성 사역자에 대한 내용적‧절차적으로 합법화하여 제도화 되어야 한다.

The Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Habdong) requires the right which can preach in order to become a pastor.First, the pre-pastor as the procedure to get the preaching right first should graduate the General Assembly Presbyterian Theological Seminary (M.Div) by the Presbytery recommendation. Second, the pre-pastor should be ordained from presbytery after passing the licentiates test and being granted the preaching right. The issue of the ordination of women became a symbolic division between the doctrine and the denomination. The Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Haptong) holds the office of pastor as an office which can preach officially in the church. The right which a pastor can preach in the church officially is called the preaching right. The current Book of Order (Haptong) of the Presbyterian Church of Korea don’t allow women to preach in the church. However, a special office for women pastors is impossible by resolution of the General Assembly but possible by revising the Book of order. In summing up, the General Assembly should amend the Book of order to be able to legalize and institutionalize the position of women pastors in church.
