일본의 법률구조의 현황

In many countries, there is a system in place for those people who can not afford to pay for legal counsel or for legal fees incurred in court, by assisting them with public funds. It refers to legal aid. There are various forms of legal aid in Japan, such as civil legal aid, free legal consultations. Civil legal aid is a system which makes payments for legal counsel fees and court fees in a civil trial, on your behalf. If such a legal aid decision comes through, then Japan Legal Support Center will pay the lawyerʼs fee and the trial fee on behalf of the applicant. But the legal aid in Japan is presently based on payment on his behalf, where he is obligated to repay the costs at a future time. It is not a grant. If there are no special circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the trial, any recipient of legal aid must pay back the cost to Japan Legal Support Center. This Article explores the organization and management of Japan Legal Support Center. Next, it deals with legal aid in civil cases, focusing on legal consultation, legal representation, solution to eliminate the community without lawyers, and lawyers appointed by contract.
