중·상급 한국어 학습자를 위한 문화교육 실천방안

A Study on the Practice of Cultural Education for Middle- and High-Level Korean Language Learners: Focused on the composition of cultural education materials and the design of classes

본고는 기존의 문화교육의 방향과 수업방안의 문제점을 논의한 선행연구를 검토한후, 그 문제점을 개선하는 차원에서 중·상급 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 하는 문화교육의 새로운 실천방안으로서 문화교육 교재의 구성방안과 그에 따른 수업설계 및 지도방안을 제시하였다. 문화교육 교재의 구성은 전통생활문화, 정신 및 놀이문화, 언어 및 예술문화, 자연 및 제도문화로 대분류한 후 각각의 세부 문화 항목으로서, 연중행사, 복식문화, 음식문화, 주거문화, 민족상징, 정신문화, 전래신앙, 놀이문화, 언어, 음악·드라마, 미술·건축, 연회, 강역, 자연경관, 화폐, 교통수단 등을 선정하였다. 문화교육의 수업설계와 지도방안은 「한국문화의 이해」라는 모델 과목을 설정한 후 「강의 개요 및 주 단위별 강의계획표」, 「시간 단위별 수업 설계와 지도 방안」, 「현장답사수업 설계 및 지도 방안」으로 나누어 전체적인 수업 개요와 수업 진행 방안을 제시하였다.

This research paper reviewed the preceding study that discussed the problems of the existing culture education’s direction and teaching method. This paper also presented a method to compose cultural education teaching materials, a corresponding class design, and a guidance plan as the new practical method of culture education for middle- and high-level Korean language learners. The composition of the cultural education materials was divided into traditional life culture, spirit and play culture, language and art culture, natural and institutional culture. Each of this detailed cultural category was selected as an annual event that represented costume culture, food culture, residential culture, national image, spiritual culture, folk religion, play culture, language, music and drama, art and architecture, banquets, natural scenery, currency, and means of transportation. This study proposed a model subject called Understanding Korean Culture. Then, for this subject, the class design and guidance plan were divided into the lecture outline and the weekly lecture plan table, the hour-by-hour class design and guidance plan, and the field survey class design and guidance plan.
