대학생의 읽기 및 쓰기 태도와 디지털 리터러시 태도 간 관계 분석

An analysis on the effect of college students’ reading and writing attitudes on their digital literacy attitude

기술 발전에 따른 사회 환경의 변화에 따라 디지털 리터러시가 중요시되고 있는 이때, 여전히 국가 수준 교육과정 승진, 입학 등 고부담 시험에서는 인쇄 매체 기반 전통적 리터러시 역시 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 문식성 발달에 영향을 미치는 태도요인에 초점을 두고, 교육 현장에서 리터러시 환경 변화에 따른 교육 방향을 설정하는 데 기초적인 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 대학생의 읽기, 쓰기 태도와 디지털 리터러시 태도를 분석한 결과, 디지털 리터러시 태도에 대한 읽기 태도의 영향력(β=.436) 이 쓰기 태도(β=.149)보다 더 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 현재 대학에서 디지털리터러시에 대한 교육은 컴퓨터를 단순한 도구로 활용하는 정도의 수준에 머물러 있어, 대학생이 디지털 리터러시를 형성하는 데 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 분석적 읽기에 대한 교육 경험을 강화할 것을 제언하는데, 이는 분석적 읽기 역량과 디지털 리터러시의 역량이 유사하며, 대학생의 긍정적 교육 경험은 이들의 디지털 리터러시 태도에도 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대되기 때문이다.

While digital literacy is becoming increasingly important due to changes in the social environment and technological advancement, print-based traditional literacy is still important in high task tests such as promotion and admission. Therefore, this study aimed to provide basic information about the direction of education in a changing literary environment, focusing on the attitude factors affecting literacy development. As a result, it was confirmed that the effect of reading attitude on digital literacy attitude (β= .436) was higher than writing attitude (β= .149). On the other hand, in college, as education in digital literacy is limited to using computers as simple tools, students’ digital literacy formation is also limited. Therefore, this study suggests strengthening the educational experience of analytical reading, as its competencies are similar to that of digital literacy. The positive educational experiences thus acquired by college students are expected to influence their attitude toward digital literacy.
