국어 텍스트 난이도 분석 프로그램(KReaD)의 신뢰도 검증

본 연구의 목적은 ㈜대교와 ‘광주교육대학교 독서교육센터’가 산학협력연구를 통하여 개발한 국어 텍스트 난이도를 측정하는&#65279;<KReaD&#65279;프로그램>의 신뢰도를 검증하는 데 있었다.&#65279;신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 두 가지 범주의 대상을 선정하여 직접 비교와 상관 분석을 하였다.&#65279;하나는 읽기능력 검사도구에 제시된 지문의 난이도를 프로그램이 산출한 난이도와 비교하는 것이다.&#65279;다른 하나는 국어교육 전문가들이 텍스트에대하여 판단한 난이도를 프로그램이 산출한 난이도와 비교하는 것이다.&#65279;검증 결과, 전반적으로&#65279;<KReaD&#65279;프로그램>의 신뢰도가 높다는 것이 확인되었다.&#65279;높은 신뢰도를지닌&#65279;<KReaD&#65279;프로그램>은 국어교육의 여러 분야에서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.&#65279;수준별 읽기 자료의 개발,&#65279;기존 학습 자료의 난이도별 재배치,&#65279;읽기능력 평가의 지문 선정 등에서 우선적으로 활용될 수 있다.&#65279;더 나아가서 다수의 정보 텍스트로 이루어진 사회나 과학 교과에서도 활용될 수 있다.

This study verifies the reliability of the “KReaD Program” developed by Daekyo Co., Ltd. and the “Gwangju National University of Education, Reading Center” through industry-academia cooperation research. This program measures the difficulty of Korean text. Two methods were used to verify the validity. One is to compare the difficulty of the passages presented in the reading ability test with that estimated by the program. The other is to compare the difficulty level determined by the Korean language education experts with that calculated by the program. The verification confirmed that the overall reliability of the KReaD Program was very high. It is expected that the KReaD Program with high reliability can be used in various fields of Korean language education. It can be used preferentially in the development of graded reading materials, rearrangement of existing reading materials by difficulty level, and selection of passages for reading ability tests. Furthermore, it can be used in social or science subjects composed of numerous informational texts.
