남북관계 활성화에 대한 대학생의 인식연구

A Study on University Students’ Perceptions on Activation of Inter-Korean Relations

본 연구는 남북평화협력 사업과 지역발전에 대한 인식, 남북 지방정부간 교류와 민간교류필요성 그리고 현 문재인 정부의 대북정책에 대한 평가를 중심으로 대학생의 인식을 연구하였다. 특히 본 연구는 ‘성별에 따라 대학생의 남북교류 활성화에 대한 인식 차이가 있을 것이다’와‘정치이념에 따라 대학생의 남북교류 활성화에 대한 인식 차이가 있을 것이다’라는 큰 가설을검증하기 위해 몇 가지 하위 가설을 토대로 검증하였다. 그 결과, ‘성별’과 ‘정치이념’에따라 대학생의 남북교류 활성화와 지역발전 그리고 남북한 지방정부간 교류 및 민간교류에있어 인식 차이가 발견되었다. 대체로 모든 문항에 있어 여자가 남자보다 긍정적인 인식을갖고 있었다. 또한 진보성향을 가진 사람이 중도나 보수보다 훨씬 더 긍정적인 인식을 가지고있음을 밝혀내었다. 하지만, 문재인 정부의 대북정책에 있어서는 성별 또는 정치 이념적으로대체로 부정적인 인식을 갖고 있었다. 특히 ‘북한 퍼주기’, ‘남북관계 속도’에 대한 인식에있어 긍정적인 인식이 다소 낮았으며, 남북관계 속도가 빠르다는 인식이 강했다. 또한 한미군사훈련 중지와 관련해서는 부정적인 인식이 높았다.

This paper studied on the recognition of university students, focusing on the recognition of inter-Korean peace cooperation project and regional development, the need for exchanges and private exchanges between regional governments, and the current government’s evaluation of North Korea policy. In particular, this study aims to test a large hypothesis that there will be differences in perceptions of university students ‘inter-Korean exchange depending on gender, and that there will be differences in perceptions of university students’ inter-Korean exchanges depending on Political ideology. Based on the hypothesis, we tested it. As a result, there was a difference in perceptions of regional development related to the activation of inter-Korean exchanges, exchanges between local governments, and civilian exchanges, according to gender and political ideology. In general, in all questions, women had more positive perceptions than men. It also revealed that progressives had a much more positive perception than moderate or conservative. However, the Moon Jae-in government’s North Korea policy generally had a negative perception of gender or political ideology. In particular, the positive perceptions of the North-North Korea and the speed of inter-Korean relations were rather low, and the recognition of the speed of inter-Korean relations was strong. There was also a high degree of negative perception regarding the suspension of ROK-US military training.
