미래전 패러다임 변화와 육군의 부대구조 발전방안

A Study on Paradigm Shifts in Future Warfare and Method of Development for Unit Organization the Korean Army

4차 산업혁명을 필두로 과학기술의 발전은 미래전 패러다임 변화를 추동하고 있다. 그 가운데서도 가장 두드러진 변화양상은 기존 유인 전투체계 중심의 전투임무 수행이 무인 전투체계와 혼합되는 모습으로 바뀌어 가고 있다는 점이다. 이러한 모습은 외국군 전술제대의 유·무인 혼합 개념을 적용한 현대화 과정과 전투수행 모습을 통해서 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 토대로 육군의 부대구조 발전방안에 주는 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다. 이와 더불어 미래 유·무인 혼합 보병대대 창설 시 예상되는 전투수행기능별 효과에 대해 SWOT 분석 기법을 활용해서 제시함으로써 미래전을 대비한 육군의 부대구조 발전방안을 모색함에 있어 여러 함의를 제공해 주고 있다.

The development of science spearheaded by the fourth industrial revolution is leading a radical shift in the paradigms of future warfare. Among them, the most remarkable aspect of change is that the performance of combat missions centered on the existing manned combat system is changing into a form that is mixed with the unmanned combat system. Such a transition can be most readily observed in foreign armed forces, which have modernized tactical echelons through the application of mixed manned/unmanned concepts. On the basis of these foreign developments, it is possible to ascertain points of implication for the Korean Army s plans for improving unit organization. Furthermore, by presenting the expected effects of implementing manned/unmanned infantry units for each combat function through the use of SWOT analysis, the study explores methods of improving unit organization in the Korean Army and offers points of implication as it prepares for the warfare methods of the future.
