자아상 회복 집단상담이 성인 진입기 기독청년들의 영적안녕감과 자아존중감에 미치는 효과

The effectiveness of self-image recovery group counseling for Spiritual well-being and Self-esteem of Christian youth in Adult entry phase

본 연구는 기독청년들을 대상으로 자아상 회복 집단상담이 영적안녕감과 자아존중감 향상에 미치는 효과성을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 B시에 위치한 H기관에서 자발적으로 참여에 동의한 20명을 대상으로 각 10명씩 실험집단과 통제집단으로 배치하였다. 실험집단은 4일간 매일 2회기씩 240분동안 총 8회 프로그램을 실시하였고, 통제집단은 프로그램을 실시하지 않았다. 효과성을 검증하기 위해 두 집단에 사전-사후, 사전-추후 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 22.0을 사용하였으며 실험집단과 통제집단의 비교는 비모수 통계 방법인 Mann-Whitney U test와 Wilcoxen Signed-Rank Test 검증을 통하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 자아상 회복 집단상담이 성인 진입기의 기독청년들의 영적안녕감과 자아존중감 향상에 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 자아상 회복 집단상담이 기독청년들의 부정적 정서를 다루어 건강하고 안정적인 성인기로의 이행과 신앙생활에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-image recovery group counseling on the improvement of spiritual well-being and self-esteem for Christian youth. For this study, 20 people who voluntarily agreed to participate from the Christian training institution located in B city were assigned to the experimental group and the control group, each of 10 people. The experimental group conducted a total of 8 programs for 240 minutes, twice a day for 4 days, and the control group did not. To verify the effectiveness, pre-post and pre-follow up tests were performed on both groups. SPSS 22.0 was used for the data analysis of this study, and the comparison between the experimental group and the control group was analyzed through the verification of the non-parametric statistical methods Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxen Signed-Rank Test. The results of this study showed that the self-image recovery group counseling was significant in improving the spiritual well-being and self-esteem of Christian youths in their adult entry period. These results are meaningful in that the self-image recovery group counseling deals with the negative emotions of Christian youths and has a positive effect on the transition to a healthy and stable adulthood and life of faith.
