외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업 운영에 따른 인식조사 연구

A Study on the Perception of Foreign Students’ Online General Education Courses

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19 확산으로 인해 불가피하게 온라인 강의로 시행된 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 A대학에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 교양교육 만족도, 학습 환경, 수업 내용, 교수자와의 교류 및 평가의 적절성 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 결과 첫째, 연구변인의 평균분포가 평균 이상으로, 교양교육 만족도, 학습 환경, 수업 내용, 교수자와의 교류 및 평가의 적절성에 대해 보통 이상으로 만족하고 있었다. 둘째, 연구변인들 간에 높은 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업의 만족도에 미치는 상대적 영향을 살펴보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과 학습 환경과 평가의 적절성이 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 외국인 유학생의 교양수업에 대한 인식에 대해 개방형 설문을 통해 보다 심층적으로 분석하였다. 결론 본 연구결과가 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양교육의 설계와 운영 개선을 위한 기초자료나 관련 정책의 참고자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of foreign students’ general education courses conducted as online due to the spread of Coronavirus 19. Methods For this purpose, the relationship between satisfaction with general education, learning environment, class contents, professor-student relationships and appropriateness of evaluation was analyzed. Results The primary findings of this study were as follows. First, the average of the variables was above average, satisfaction with general education courses, learning environment, class contents, professor-student relationships and appropriateness of evaluation were above average. Second, there was a high positive correlation between the variables. Third, the results of multiple regression analysis were conducted to examine the relative effects of foreign students’ on satisfaction of online general education, the learning environment and appropriateness of evaluation had a significant effect. Fourth, an in-depth analysis was conducted on foreign students’ perceptions of online general education through an open questionnaire. Conclusions The results of this stud will be used as sources of establishing related polices and programs to promote for foreign students’ online general education.
