The Factors Influencing Adult Learner’s Learning Transfer in Lifelong Education: Focused on confidence on educational contents, expectancy of contributing on a local society, surrounding people’s support

학습전이가 교육프로그램과 성과를 연결하는 중요한 요소임에도 불구하고 기업교육 영역에서 주로 연구가 진행되었다. 이에 본 연구는 평생교육 영역에서 학습전이 연구가 필요하다는 논의를 바탕으로 학습전이에 대한 실증적 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 평생교육 성인학습자의 교육내용 자신감, 지역사회 기여 기대, 주변인 지원이 근전이 및 원전이와 갖는 관계를 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, A광역 및 산하 기초지자체에서 운영하는 평생교육 활동가 양성과정 참여자 148명으로부터 양적 자료를 수집·분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생교육프로그램 상황에서 본 연구의 학습전이 연구모형이 적합하였다. 둘째, 교육내용 자신감, 지역사회 기여 기대, 주변인 지원은 근전이와 원전이에 정적 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 근전이는 교육내용 자신감, 지역사회 기여 기대, 주변인 지원이 원전이에 주는 정적 영향을 매개하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 논의를 제시하였다.

The studies about learning transfer were mainly performed in corporate education, in spite of the important element connecting educational program and performance. Hence, in this study, the positive analyses were implemented based on the previous studies that suggested a positive research about learning transfer in the area of lifelong education. The purpose of this study is to investigate positively the relationship among confidence on educational contents, expectancy of contributing on a local society, surrounding people’s support, learning transfer (near and far transfer) perceived by adult learners in lifelong education. For this purpose, quantitative data were collected from 148 adult learners who participated in the training courses for lifelong education agent supported by the local governments. The results were as follows: First, the research model was fit with the data from adult learners in lifelong educations. Second, confidence on educational contents, expectancy of contributing on a local society, surrounding people’s support showed the affirmative influences on near and far transfer. Third, the relation among confidence on educational contents, expectancy of contributing on a local society, surrounding people’s support and far transfer was mediated by near transfer. Based on the results, conclusions and implications were suggested.
