This study attempted to grasp the perception of healing marine tourism for social welfare targets by pre‐service social workers who are in charge of practicing social welfare in the future. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted for 167 students in the Department of Social Welfare for seven days from January 8 to 14, 2021. As a result, pre‐service social workers preference of healing marine tourism program for social welfare targets shows that they perceived the rest healing (tracking along a coastal path) the most appropriate. Also, looking at the research hypothesis test, the relationship between perception of healing tourism and helping to promote physical‐emotional health, the relationship between perception of healing tourism and fitness for healing marine tourism, and the relationship between physical health promotion help and fitness for healing marine tourism were found to be statistically significant (p<.050). Based on these results, this study tends to provide the healing marine tourism program as basic data for implementing it to the university curriculum.
