In this study, 12 men and women in their 20s to 60s who have experience in using hotel rooms are interviewed in-depth to analyze users perceptions of whether it is useful to deliver evacuation routes from hotel rooms in case of fire or disaster. The plan was to supplement and inspect the evacuation guidance system for hotel room safety and analyze the improvement of the evacuation guidance system to revitalize the hotel in the future. According to the analysis, information is more recognized in the case of audio-visual materials such as evacuation guidance videos that are shown before the movie is shown in the movie theater than in the evacuation guidance system in the hotel room consisting of only text. So implications in terms of policy and practical use, evacuation information System will be force and audio-visual materials have to be introduced.
