국립공원 주요 아고산대 상록침엽수 분포실태 조사

Survey on the Distribution of Evergreen Conifers in the Major National Park - A Case Study on Seoraksan, Odaesan, Taebaeksan, Sobaeksan, Deogyusan, Jirisan National Park -

설악산, 오대산, 태백산, 소백산, 덕유산, 지리산국립공원을 대상으로 아고산대 상록침엽수 분포실태를 정량적으로 조사하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 6개 국립공원 중 상록침엽수 면적이 가장 넓게 나타난 공원은 설악산국립공원과 지리산국립공원으로 나타났다. 주 능선을 따라 거의 모든 능선에 연속적으로 분포하였으며, 공원면적 대비 점유비율도 타 공원에 비해 높게 나타났다. 설악산국립공원과 지리산국립공원은 6개 국립공원 중 가장 넓은 면적의 전나무속 식물(구상나무, 분비나무) 자생지로 나타났다. 설악산국립공원의 분비나무와 지리산국립공원의 구상나무 면적은 각각 약 19 km2, 약 41 km2로 나타났으며, 주목, 가문비나무 등 타 수종에 비해 월등히 높았다. 두 수종은 해발고도 1,000m 내외부터 정상부까지 분포하고 있으며, 자생하는 해발고도의 범위가 타 수종에 비해 넓었다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라 아고산대를 대표하는 설악산국립공원과 지리산국립공원 등 백두대간을 중심으로 한 고지대산림자원 보전 및 관리를 위한 기초자료로 높은 활용가치가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This study was carried out to quantitatively investigate the distribution of evergreen conifers at sub-alpine zones in Seoraksan, Odaesan, Taebaeksan, Sobaeksan, Deogyusan, Jirisan National Park. Among the six national parks, the parks with the largest evergreen conifers area were Seoraksan National Park and Jirisan National Park. It was distributed continuously to along the main ridge, and occupancy ratio of park area was higher than other national parks. Seoraksan National Park and Jirisan National Park are the largest natural habitats for Abies genus among the six national parks. The natural habitats areas of Abies nephrolepis (Trautv.) Maxim in Seoraksan National Park and Abies koreana E. H. Wilson in Jirisan National Park were 19.78 km2 and 29.96 km2, respectively, and were significantly higher than other species such as Taxus cuspidata Siebold & Zucc. (2.39 km2) and Picea jezoensis (Siebold & Zucc.) Carrière. (0.073km2). These two species are distributed from the elevation of about 1,000m to the summit, and the range of elevation is broader than that of other species. These results are expected to be of high value as a basic data for the conservation and management of subalpine forest resources based on the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range such as Seoraksan National Park and Jirisan National Park which represent the subalpine of South Korea.
