태안해안국립공원에 속한 8개 해변의 조간대에 서식하는 대형저서동물 군집의 변화를 파악하기 위하여 2012년 2월부터 2018년 10월까지 주상시료 채니기(표면적 0.1 ㎡)를 이용하여 계절별 조사를 실시하였다. 조사기간 동안 출현한 대형저서동물은 총 338종, 1,658개체/㎡, 180.2 g/㎡ 으로 환형동물이 133종(39.3%), 781개체/㎡(47.1%)로 가장 우점하였으나, 생체량은 연체동물이 142.8 g/㎡ 으로 79.3%를 점유하였다. 주요 우점종은 환형동물인Pseudopolydora paucibranchiata가 393±637개체/㎡(23.7%)로 가장 우점하였고, Fellaniella sowerbyi, Armandia lanceolata, Umbonium thomasi 등의 우점종들도 100개체/㎡ 이상으로 출현하였다. 집괴분석결과 크게 북측에 위치한 3개 정점(정점군 A)과 남측의 5개 정점으로 구성된 2개의 정점(정점군 B)으로 구분되었는데, 정점군 B에서 출현종수, 평균밀도, 생체량 및 종 다양도가 높게 나타났다. 2007년 12월에 발생한 허베이 스피리트호 유류유출 사고 지점에서 가장 가까운 북측에 위치한 정점들에 비해 남측에 위치한 정점들에서 대형저서동물군집이 양호한 것으로 나타났다.
Seasonal surveys were carried out using a can corer (surface area 0.1 m2) from February 2012 to October 2018 to understand the changes in the marcrobenthic communities in the intertidal zones of eight beaches in Taeanhaean National Park. A total of 338 species, 1,658 ind./m2 and 180.2 g/m2 appeared in the survey period. The annelids were most prevalent in the species richness and density with 133 species (39.3%) and 781 individuals/m2 (47.1%), respectively, but mollusks accounted for the most biomass of macrobenthos of 79.3% with 142.8 g/m2. The most dominant species was an annelid species, Pseudopolydora paucibranchiata with 393±637 ind./m2 (23.7%), and Fellaniella sowerbyi, Armandia lanceolata, and Umbonium thomasi also appeared with their density more than 100 ind./m2. From the cluster analysis, the study area was classified into two groups: station group A consisted of three stations located in the north side and station group B composed of five stations in the south side. Station group B showed higher values than station group A in all biological variables such as the number of species, mean density, biomass and species diversity. Marcrobenthic communities at station group of the southern part were found to be better status than those of the northernmost part close to the Hebei Spirit oil spill site in December 2007.
