Making Representative Color to City Environment

This study is purposed to make questions and examined applications of representative color, and findings out the basic process of representative color at the case of Dong-gu city color planning, Busan. The Results att Image Scale, Y axis was same and X axis was needed to move from static to dynamic by 2 steps. In other words, image of warm, natural and gentle should make change to be that of bright, cheerful and dynamic. At Tone & Hue analysis, current R/G/B/PB should make change to be R/Y/GY/B and to move axis from blue and purple to bright and soft Hue such as yellow and yellowish green. The representative landscape was largely occupied by not only Busan Station but also Busan Port, followed by night view of Busan Port. Therefore, the tone was bright and dynamic and the hue preferred yellow based on blue.
