A Study on Standardization of Korean Distribution Terminology thru Research on its Management Situation

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state of the distribution terminology use by retailer and consumer nationwide and suggest the practical improvement plan of refinement and standardization for distribution terminology. Research design, data, methodology - Data were collected from overall literature regarding distribution industry, retailer survey and consumers nationwide. The study will proceed with 3 steps of research and survey on use of distribution terminology in Korea such as literature study, retailer survey by store format, and general consumers nationswide. Implications- Desired and expected effects resulting from the study in question is summarized from 3 perspectives such as retailer, government, and consumer itself. Future study - Future study will be concentrated on practical 3 steps of research and survey on literatures, retailers, and consumers which is followed by analyzing its outcome and arranging suggestions such as improvement plan for the refinement and standardization of distribution terminology in Korea.
