Korea, a leading country in ICT, is developing cutting-edge smartphones with various functions, maintaining its position at the top of the smartphone market. In Korea, the number of mobile subscribers is 63.28 million by the 3rd quarter of last year, which is more than 122% in terms of the ratio of penetration rate of mobile communication to the total population. The 4G LTE subscription rate is 78.4%, the highest in the world, and the total number of mobile subscribers in Korea is expected to reach 75 million by 2023.
