A Study on Location Evaluation and Demand Forecasting of Children's Wear Stores in Bundang

This study was performed under the assumption that A brand store of Z company of Pangyo new store appearing in Pangyo station moves into the mart focusing on Bundang-gu, Seongnam city developed as a new city. If all commercial facilities are completed to move into around Pangyo station, the number of demand population will reach around 90 thousand, so this space is expected to be upgraded as a high-power of purchase commercial right. This study would carry out demand forecasting on the stores currently open and look around the change targeting discount stores in Bundang of Z company which sells clothing of children age of 0 to 7 and children’s skin care. Also it would carry out location evaluation on existing stores and Pangyo new stores to be open newly. As a result of demand forecasting through geometric series model among past trend extending ways which can estimate coefficient although not utilizing regression analysis on constant increase in children’s wear demanding population and parameter to be estimated, all stores of A brand open at discount stores in Bundang will reach yearly average around 0.3~0.4 billion in 2015 and estimated result value higher than the average of discount stores across the nation was deduced. Also as a result of carrying out location evaluation by county district targeting•discount stores established in Bundang currently besides demand forecasting, the highest evaluated values were deduced in order of Pangyo, Yatap-dong, and Seohyun-dong and the lowest evaluated value was deduced in order of Soonae-dong, Imae-dong. Also as a result of discount stores location evaluation with a result of location evaluation by county district, Pangyo new store got a high score in location• evaluation besides three discount stores where A brand is located in main station commercial power of Bundang, and besides, Seohyun Lotte Mart got a high rating which received high result value in bus connection and distance time to discount store among
