Purpose - The purpose of the study is to investigate history, production method, market scale and distribution of traditional liquor of three countries, that is to say, sokokju in Korea, shaoxing-chiew in China and Sake in Japan that have similar production method to be made by rice and cereal being core of food industry, and to find out exchange way. Research design, data, methodology - The study investigated history of three of the traditional liquors, classification of liquor of the three countries, and production method. The study examined scale of traditional liquor market and traditional liquor distribution structure of the three countries. Results - In traditional liquor of the three countries, public relations for brand cognition on traditional liquor owing to wellbeing and LOHAS (lifestyle of health and sustain ability), sales promotion and marketing strategy in harmony with high quality image, shelf life of draft liquor, identification system of traditional liquor, high tax system of traditional liquor, continuous R&D and training of professionals, etc were needed. Conclusions - The three countries of South Korea, China and Japan play important role at world trade to seek for Korea, China and Japan FTA and other economic integration. By taking the opportunity, traditional liquor exhibition of the three countries needs to be held and to make brand of the three countries' traditional liquor brands in world market that are proud of long history.
