Supply Chain management (SCM) is saidto manage flow of goods, information and finance in integrated way at all of the industrial processes such as supply of raw materials, production, distribution and disposal. Rawmaterial suppliers, parts suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation business shall be linked in organic way to supply one commodity. These days, production, sales and transportati on shall be effectively managed at competiti on between businesses and diversified needs of consumers. Modern distribution with highlevel of information system and distributionnet support effective management of convenience store industry. Since 1997, shops haveexchanged information by using communication satellite to increase ratio of information system at the distribution remarkably 7-Eleven that was the best and the firstconvenience store in the world developed innovative chain management to put it into practice and to attain management outcome successfully and to get unique position by SCM innovation at not only in Japan but alsoin the world. 7-Eleven Japan's distribution innovation consisted of commodity policy, distribution system and information system: This study investigated success cases of 7-Eleven's chain management to find out its innovation, processes and success strategies, limitation and supplementation and to refer to them for Korean enterprises' supply chain.
