서울시 건강가정지원센터의 가족상담 효과성 향상을 위한 질적연구

A Qualitative Study on the Family Counseling Effectiveness of the Seoul Healthy Family Support Center: Focusing on Family Counselors’ Experience of the Family-Specialized Counseling Program

본 연구는 서울시 건강가정지원센터의 가족상담 효과성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법들을 모색하기 위하여 서울시건강가정지원센터의 가족특화사업 상담서비스를 제공하였던 가족상담자들을 대상으로 질적연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 가족상담자 관점에서의 가족상담 효과성 향상방안을 모색하기 위하여 초점집단면접(Focus Group Interview: FGI)을 실시하였다. 상담자 참여자는 2팀, 총 10명이었다. 연구 목적에 맞는 연구참여자를 선정하기 위하여 의도적 표본추출 전략을 사용하였고, 반구조화된 면접(semi-structured interview)으로 진행되었다. 연구결과, 총 8개의 주제가 도출되었으며, 8개의 주제는 비슷한 주제끼리 묶여 3개의 범주로 분류되었다. 첫 번째 범주는 ‘가족상담 효과성에 대한 인식’이며, 주제로는 ‘건강가정지원센터 가족상담의 효과성’이 포함되었다. 두번째 범주는 ‘상담자’이며, 주제로는 ‘슈퍼비전, 보수교육, 사례회의의 활용’, ‘전문적으로 가족상담 훈련을 받은 상담자 확대 배치’, ‘상담자 처우 및 부분적 상담유료화’가 포함되었다. 세 번째 범주는 ‘가족상담 및 센터 운영’이며, 주제로는 ‘내담자 중심 체계적인 운영 시스템 필요’, ‘가족관점의 센터 운영’, ‘정기적 효과성 연구 및 척도의 다양화’, ‘물리적 환경 개선 필요’가 포함되었다. 도출된 범주와 주제를 바탕으로 서울시 건가센터의 가족상담 효과성 향상 방안을 제시하였고, 가족정책과 연결하여 제언을 제공하였다.

The current study examines factors that influence the family counseling effectiveness of the Seoul Healthy Family Support Center, especially focusing on family counselors’ experience of the family-specialized counseling program. To investigate how to improve family counseling effectiveness, the researcher used a qualitative method, conducting focus group interviews employing a semi-structured interview strategy. Ten family counselors participated in this study. Eight themes were identified that were combined into three categories that influence family counseling effectiveness. The first category was “the perception on family counseling effectiveness,” which included the “Seoul Healthy Family Support Center’s family counseling effectiveness” theme. The second category, “the counselors,” included the following themes: “use of supervision, continuing education, and case conference,” “increase the number of counselors specialized in family counseling,” and “improve the wage system for family counselors and the payment system of the Center.” The third category, “the management of family counseling and the Center,” included the following themes: “need of client-centered systematic management,” “family-centered management,” “regular research of effectiveness and use of diverse measurements,” and “improve counseling environments.” Based on these categories and themes, the researcher suggests ways to improve the family counseling effectiveness of the Seoul Healthy Family Support Center and relevant family policies.
