역량기반 2015 개정 사회과교육과정 개선 방안 탐색

Exploring Ways to Improve the Competency-based 2015 Revised Social Studies Curriculum

본 연구에서는 2015 개정 사회과 교육과정에서 역량과 기능을 중심으로 교육과정을 분석하고 개선할점을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 역량에 대한 합의된 개념에 기반하여 과목 간 위계를 맞춰 교과 역량을 조절할 필요가 있다. 또한 교육과정에서 적용하는 사회과 교과 역량을 보완할 필요가 있다. 이 과정에서 사회과의 목표를 균형 있게 구현할 수 있게 교과 역량을 적절히 선정해야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 사회과 교과 역량으로 비판적 사고력, 의사결정력, 문제해결력, 소통 및 협업능력, 정보활용능력(또는 탐구력)을 제안하고자 한다. 둘째, 문서 체계 상에서 역량을 명시적으로 제시하고 사회과 목표와 역량과 기능, 성취기준 간의 관계와 구체적 사례를 제시하여 교과에서 함양하려는 역량을 학교 수업에서 실현할 수 있도록 관계 구조를 제시할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 문서의 내용 체계상 영역의 구성이나 기능 선정에서 사회과 내 3개 영역 간이나 다양한 과목 간 형평을 맞춰나가야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the document system of curriculum, focusing on competencies and skills in the 2015 revised Social Studies curriculum and explore ways to improve it for the next Social Studies curriculum. First, it is necessary to adjust subject competencies according to the hierarchy between subjects based on the agreed concept of competencies. In addition, it is necessary to supplement the Social Studies subject competencies applied in the curriculum. In this process, it is necessary to select the subject competencies appropriately so that the goals of Social Studies can be realized. This study suggests critical thinking ability, decision-making ability, problem solving ability, communication and collaboration ability, and information utilization ability (or inquiry ability) as Social Studies subject competencies. Second, it is necessary to present a relationship structure in order to realize the competencies to be cultivated in the subject by presenting the relationship explicitly and concrete examples between competencies and skills and achievement standards. Third, in selecting the composition of the domain in the content system or function of the document, it is necessary to balance the three areas within the Social Studies department or between various subjects.
