보육교사의 근무환경과 경력몰입 및 놀이교수효능감이 교사-영유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Child Care Teacher’s Working Environment, Career Commitment and Play Teaching-Efficacy on Teacher-Child Interaction

목적 본 연구는 보육교사의 근무환경과 경력몰입 및 놀이교수효능감이 교사-영유아 상호작용에 어떠한 직⋅간접적 영향을 미치는지를 구조방정식모형 분석을 통하여 살펴보고자 하였다.방법 이를 위하여 보육교사 310명을 대상으로 근무환경, 경력몰입, 놀이교수효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용이 측정되었으며, 수집된 자료는 Pearson의 적률상관분석과 구조방정식모형 분석을 통하여 분석되었다.결과 첫째, 보육교사의 놀이교수효능감은 교사-영유아 상호작용에 직접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 근무환경과 경력몰입은 놀이교수효능감을 매개로 하여 교사-영유아 상호작용에 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라 보육교사의 근무환경은 경력몰입과 놀이교수효능감을 순차적으로 매개하여 교사-영유아 상호작용에 간접적 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 추가하여 교사-영유아 상호작용에 놀이교수효능감이 상대적으로 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.결론 이러한 결과는 보육교사의 교사-영유아 상호작용의 질을 높이기 위하여 놀이교수효능감의 강화가 우선되어야함을 강조하는 한편 교사의 경력몰입의 고양과 양질의 근무환경을 위한 개선과 구축의 필요성을 확인하고 있다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of child care teacher’s working environment, career commitment and play teaching-efficacy on teacher-child interaction. Methods Data were collected from 310 child care teachers, by using instruments that access working environment, career commitment, play teaching-efficacy and teacher-child interaction. Data were analysed using Pearson’s correlation and structural equational modeling. Results First, teacher’s play teaching-efficacy was found to have a direct effect on teacher-child interaction. Second, teacher’s career commitment was found to have an indirect effect on teacher-child interaction through play teaching-efficacy. Third, the working environment was found to have an indirect effect on teacher-child interaction through career comment and play teaching-efficacy. Finally, the play teaching-efficacy was found to have the most important effect on teacher-child interaction. Conclusions Interventions for improving play teaching-efficacy, career commitment and working environment for child care teacher could help teacher-child interaction.
