해양경찰관의 외상사건경험이 회복탄력성과 PTSD에 미치는 영향

The effect of marine police officer s experience of trauma on recovery elasticity and PTSD

이 연구의 목적은 불법조업 중국어선을 단속하는 서해 관할 해양경찰관의 단속 과정에서 폭력피해경험 또는 직무관련 사건경험이 회복탄력성과 PTSD에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 결과, 불법 중국어선 단속 과정에서 근무연수와 계급이 높을수록 외상 경험과 직무관련 사건경험도 많았고, 그중 폭력피해 경험과 직무관련 사건경험이 많을수록 외상 후 스트레스 장애도 심각해지는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 회복탄력성은 직접 외상경험이 많을수록 회복탄력성이 낮아지고, 간접 외상경험이 많을수록 회복탄력성이 높아지는 결과가 나타났다. 이 결과를 가지고 몇 가지 사항에 대하여 정책적 제안을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 지속적인 PTSD의 진단과 치료개입의 관리가 필요하고, 둘째, 장기근속 해양경찰의 PTSD에 대한 집중 관리가 필요하며, 셋째, 간접 외상경험에 대한 교육훈련 활용이 필요하다. 넷째, 회복탄력성 훈련을 제공하여야 하고, 다섯째, 단속 해경에 대한 심리전술 및 과학적 전술 교육훈련 배양이 필요하며, 여섯째, 불법어선 단속 해경의 PTSD에 관한 다양한 학술 연구가 필요하다. 이 연구를 통해서 불법 중국어선 단속 해양경찰관들의 외상경험과 폭력피해경험 및 직무관련 사건경험이 PTSD와 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향과 상관관계가 확인된 것처럼, 해양경찰관의 외상치료 프로그램개발과 회복탄력성 강화훈련에 기초 연구자료로 보완이 되는 계기가 될 것이다.

The purpose of this research was to confirm the influence of violence damage experience or job related incident experience have on recovery elasticity and PTSD in the process of Yellow Sea jurisdictional maritime police officer cracking down illegal Chinese fishing boats. The result showed that longer the working years and higher the current class in crackdown process of illegal Chinese fishing boats, the more traumatic experiences and job related incident experiences, and in specific, the more violence damage experience and job related incident experience, the more severe the degree of PTSD was shown. For recovery elasticity, the more direct traumatic experience resulted in less recovery elasticity, whereas more indirect traumatic experience lead to more recovery elasticity. With this result, policy recommendations for several matters are as follows. First, continuous diagnosis of PTSD and management of therapeutic intervention is necessary, second, centralized management of PTSD of long-year working marine police must be provided, third, application of training education of indirect injury experience is needed. Fourth, training for recovery elasticity is needed, fifth, training education of psychological tactics and scientific tactics for maritime police charging crackdown is necessary, and sixth, various academic research on PTSD of marine police charging crackdown of illegal fishing boats should be provided. Through this research, as trauma experience, violence damage experience and job related incident experience of marine police charging crackdown of illegal fishing boats were shown to have correlations with PTSD and recovery elasticity, it will be an opportunity to supplement as fundamental research materials for developing and strengthening elasticity recovery training of marine policeman s trauma treatment program.
