A Study on the Safe Environment and Energy Management

지구온난화라는 단어가 이제는 친숙한 말이 되었다. 자주 듣다보니 심각성도 무디어지고 있다. 우리는 편리하다는 이유로 석탄과 석유에너지를 일상적으로 사용하고 있다. 그 편리한 에너지로부터 이산화탄소가 배출되고 또 그로부터 지구환경의 온난화가 진행되며,파괴되고 있는데도 우리는 멈출 줄을 모른다. 다행이 선진국을 중심으로 탄소배출 저감노력이 진행되고 있고 이를 위한 기술개발도 가속화 되고 있다. 하지만 지구온난화를 감소시키기에는 아직 역부족이다. 이제는 우리 모두 진정으로 현실을 받아들이고 행동에 옮길 때이다. 석탄,석유와 같은 화석연료를 대체할 에너지를 개발해야한다. 우리 후손에게 부끄럽지 않도록 지금부터라도 환경을 생각하는 에너지소비와 관리를 해야만 한다.

Global warming is now a familiar word. As I often hear, the seriousness is dulling. We use coal and petroleum energy everyday because of its convenience. Carbon dioxide is released from its convenient energy, and the global warming proceeds from it, and we are still using it. Fortunately, efforts are being made to reduce carbon emissions, especially in developed countries, and technology development is accelerating. But it is still not enough to reduce global warming. Now is the time to accept reality and to behave. Energy must be developed to replace fossil fuels such as coal and oil. In order not to be ashamed of our descendants, we must consume energy that considers the environment.
