범죄로 인한 정신적·육체적 충격 비용에 미치는 지역사회환경 요인에 관한 연구

A Study on the Factors of Community Environment Affecting the Costs of Mental and Physical Impacts from Crime

본 연구는 범죄로 인해 발생하는 정신적·육체적 충격 비용에 영향을 미치는 지역사회환경의 요인을 탐색하였고, 이를 측정하기 위한 방법의 하나인 조건부가치측정법(CVM)에 관해 문헌연구를 수행하고 이를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 범죄로 인한 정신적·육체적 충격비용에 영향을 줄 것이라고 산정한 지역사회해체와 동네무질서인식, 범죄예방환경설계(CPTED)는 모두 범죄의 정신적·육체적 충격에 영향을 주는 요인으로 연구되어 왔음이 확인되었다. 둘째, 지역사회요인 중 지역사회해체와 동네무질서 인식은 피해자의 정신적·육체적 충격 중 우울 증상에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 범죄예방환경설계(CPTED)는 범죄에 대한 두려움과 불안에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 조건부가치측정법(CVM)을 통해 범죄의 정신적·육체적 충격비용을 측정하려는 시도는 국내 연구가 매우 미진한 것과 달리 국외에서는 꾸준하고 활발하게 진행되고 있음이 확인되었다.

This study explored factors in the community environment that affect the cost of mental and physical shock caused by crime, and conducted and analyzed literature studies on the conditional value-added method(CVM), one of the methods for measuring them. The analysis results are as follows. First, it has been confirmed in this study that community disconstruction, awareness of neighborhood disorder, and design of crime prevention environment(CPTED), which predicted to affect the mental and physical impact costs of crime, have all been studied as factors that affect the mental and physical impact of crime. Second, among the community factors, community disconstruction and awareness of neighborhood disorder were found to have the greatest influence on depression symptoms among the mental and physical shocks of the victims, and crime prevention environment design(CPTED) was found to have the greatest impact on fear and anxiety about crime. Finally, attempts to measure the mental and physical impact costs of a crime through conditioned value-added measurement(CVM) have been found to be steady and active outside the country, unlike very poor domestic research.
