교양 태권도 강좌 수강이 대학생들의 사회적 체형불안 및 비만스트레스에 미치는 영향
A Study on the Social Physique Anxiety and Obesity Stress among College Students aligned with Signing up for Taekwondo Course
The study is an experiment to find out the effects of taking the Taekwondo as one of the liberal arts courses among college students on their social physique anxiety and obesity stress. The subjects of the study are 152 male and female college students attending B University in metropolitan city A, including 79 students who have volunteered to take the Taekwondo as one of the liberal arts courses and 73 students in control group. The Taekwondo course have lasted 15 weeks with one two-hour session per week. The statistics program SPSS 25.0K has been used data processing and covariance analyses with the advance values of measurements as covariates to compare the averages between the two groups. The research findings are as follows. First, taking the Taekwondo as a liberal arts course is found to have a positive effect on the social physique anxiety of college students. Second, taking the Taekwondo course is found to have a positive effect on obesity stress among college students. These findings are expected to serve as a basis to explain the need and importance of Taekwondo as one of the liberal arts courses in college to promote positive psychological and emotional changes among college students.
