A Study on Standardization and Simlification of Construction Material Bill

Construction work is an art of making something out of nothing. To run the construction project smoothly, budget, organization and engineering should be balanced. Standardization and simplification of construction bill are needed in order to maximize the efficiency of office work and reduce the cost of project. Special regards are paid to the safety, adaptation to computer system, comprehensibility and objectiveness of construction material bill in this standardization and simplification study. Main features of the present research are to express accessory cost as a rate of main material cost, adopt combined unit cost system, change units of items, and make cost breakdown in the middle class of the work breakdown structure. We should perform this kind of research periodically so that we can reflect what is really happening in the construction site.
