비정형적인 외장의 설계와 생산은 전체 건축물의 형태를 이루고 구조적인 기능을 하는 부재의 위치를 결정하기 때문에 비정형건축물 구축에 있어 가장 중요한 부분 중 하나이다. 결국 프로젝트의 성패는 설계와 생산의 품질에 좌우된다. 하지만 아직까지 국내의 비정형외장공사의 설계와 생산프로세스가 정립되어 있지 않아 많은 문제점을 야기하고 있다. 이에 비정형 건축물의 외장재를 구축하기 위하여 실질적인 구현에 이르는 효과적인 진행방법을 찾고자 하는 본 연구의 목적에 따라, 비정형 외장패널의 생산방식에 따른 설계와 제작프로세스를 고찰하였다.
The number of free-form buildings are increased by development of 3D parametric modeling technology. The reason of free-form Architecture’s appearance is advance of digital technology. The design and construction process of Free-Form buildings considering various factor should be in integrated collaborative system unlike traditional architectural system.
