혼인과 가정 공동체를 위한 교회와 청년 세대의 대화

Dialogue between the Church and Youth Generation for marriage and family community: centered on the Joy of Love and the theology of the Body.

본 연구의 목적은 혼인과 가정 공동체에 대한 교회 가르침인 『몸의 신학』과 『사랑의 기쁨』의 내용을 중심으로, 청년 세대와 교회의 대화 가능성을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 교회 가르침에 대한 청년들의 이해(理解)를 살피고, 교회와 청년의 대화 가능성을 높여줄 용어를 모색하였다. 이제까지 본 연구처럼 『몸의 신학』과 『사랑의 기쁨』의 내용이 청년들에게 전달하는 과정에 대한 연구는부재하므로, 근거 이론에 의한 질적 연구로서 면접을 실시하였다. 천주교 신자의 정체성을 갖고 있고, 나이가 39세 이하인 청년 중에서, 공용기관생명윤리위원회(IRB)에서 요구하는 윤리규정에 맞추어, ‘스노볼’ 방식으로 선정된 12명이 면접에 참여하였다. 면접에서는 구조화된 설문지가 사용되었다. 연구 참여자들은 설문지의 문항에 선호의 정도가 아닌, 자신이 알아들은 내용을 기재하였다. 12명 면접자들의 기재 내용에 대해 5개 상황, 곧 전체, 기혼자, 미혼자, 남자, 여자에 따른 키워드 분석을 하였다. 분석은 교리 가르침에 대한 이해 내용 분석과, 대화 가능성 제고를 위한 분석의 두 단계로 진행되었다. 분석 결과, 연구 참여자들은 혼인과 가정 공동체에 대한 교회 가르침의 핵심 개념인 창조성, 몸, 자비, 선물(내어줌), 가정 교회 등에 대해 알아듣지 못하고 있었다. 그 이유에 대해 분석하고 대안을 제시하였다. 이유는 들어본 적이 없고, 어려운 한자말이어서, 기성세대의 말을 알아들을 것이라는 전제의 오류로 추론하였다. 대안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어려운 한자말을 쉬운 한글로 풀어서 제시하거나, 병행 제시를 한다. 둘째, 청년들이 이해할 수 있는 신앙언어를 찾거나 만든다. 셋째, 혼인강좌의 내용을 재구성할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 주일학교 교육 내용의 수정이 필요하다. 다섯째, 가정에서의 자녀교육이 쇄신되어야 한다. 여섯째, 본당의 생명 문화가 확산되어야 한다. 혼인과 가정 공동체에 대한 교회 가르침의 청년 세대와의 대화 가능성을 높이기 위해, 참고할 수 있는 내용들도 제시하였다. ① 하느님의 본성과 자신의 위치, ② 하느님과 자신 사이의 관계, ③ 자신과 가족 내의 관계, ④ 자신과 하느님 관계의 결과물인 완덕, ⑤ 자신과 배우자 관계의 결과물로서의 ‘혼인과 가정’에 대한 인식들이 그것이다. 또한 연구의 한계와 함께 함의도 제시하였다.

The main purpose of this study is to help the dialogue between the Church and Youth generation for marriage and family community. There are two central goals of this study: 1. To investigate the youth s understanding of the church s doctrine of marriage and family community, in terms of the Theology of Body and the Joy of Love . 2. To analyze how certain terms can increase the likelihood of dialogue between them. To date there has been no studies on this topic. Therefore, this study was explorative in nature, so interviews based on the Grounded Theory as Qualitative Research were used. Twelve people selected by the snowball method among young people who are under the age of 39 and who have a believer s identity participated in the interview. In the interview, structured questionnaires were used and applied to IRB s ethical rules. The interviewees filled out the questionnaire with their understanding of their content of the teaching, rather than their preferences. The analysis was conducted in two steps to investigate the interviewee s understanding of the church s doctrine of marriage and family community, and to analyze how certain terms can increase the likelihood of dialogue. The results in this study are as followings; (1) the interviewees did not understand the contents of the church s doctrine of marriage and family community, that is creativity, body, charity, gift(free offering), the domestic church. (2) The interviewees understood the existence of God, of Oneself, of Parents, and Relationships. And in their minds, the understanding of the Creature, Family, Perfect virtue(完德) was pushed into the background. In the discussion, we looked at the reasons of why the interviewees did not understand the contents of the church doctrine, and looked for the alternatives. And we suggested the limitations and the implications of this study. For the youth ministry and pro life culture, we wish that further studies of this topic need to be undertaken.
